| Indian Head Massage |
A holistic treatment incorporating the upper back, shoulders, upper arms,
neck, scalp and
face. Using pure and warmed Coconut, Sesame or Mustard
Seed oils with a hint of sandalwood (if suitable). The treatment begins seated for the back, shoulders and
head massage and ends with a scalp and face massage and chakra balancing on a treatment
couch. Indian Head Massage works on balancing the chakras, as well as
relieving muscle and mental tension. Can be helpful for a number of
conditions, including stress-related problems, upper body tension, headaches,
eye strain and insomnia.

Reflexology |
|
Reflexology also works on the thousands of nerve endings in the feet, creating a deeply relaxing treatment for body and mind.
Using either pure carrier oil
(such as Sweet Almond) or aromatherapy blended oils. |

| Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy or ‘Ki’ (an energy which is all around us). Reiki is a Japanese natural therapy used to help balance Ki and regain harmony within the whole person, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. There is no belief system attached to Reiki so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment. |

A Reiki treatment
is received fully clothed, on a massage couch
in our comfortable treatment rooms. There are two practitioners working together during one session. The practitioners gently place their hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions, which cover the whole body. Available as 30 min (£10.00) or 1 hour (£20.00) sessions

Essensa Hot Stone Therapy |
 Hot
stone therapy is a
massage technique that draws upon the ancient Native American tradition of
using heated stones on the body. The stones used are naturally shaped,
volcanic basalt. The heat of the stones promote a deep effect of
relaxation on the muscles, helping to alleviate stress and tension and creating
a sense of balance and harmony. 
Essensa products originate from Provence, France and are 100 % natural and contain
pure plant and flower essences. They contain no synthetic or animal-derived ingredients, no
artificial fragrances, colorants or preservatives and have never been
tested on animals. "Essensa
captures the Life Essence of Plants with Exceptional Care to Revitalise,
Energise and Purify the Body and Skin".
At the end of the treatment, the body is cocooned in a thermoblanket, whilst gem stones are placed on the body to work on energy centres (chakras); recovery period approx 5-10 mins. Whilst the skin and body is improved by the essential oils of the skin treatment, the stones are working on the energies and whole being of the person, providing a true holistic therapy. Full

Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling) |
 A
relaxing and calming treatment, originating from the Hopi Pueblo Indians of SW
USA. Can be helpful for a number of conditions, including compacted or excessive ear wax, sinus congestion,
tinnitus, headaches and anxiety. The
candle acts as a chimney and a current of warm air gently massages the eardrum
and 'dries up' any moisture. Using only BIOSUN ear candles, which are made
from cotton and contain other natural ingredients, such as honey, sage, chamomile and St John's Wort.
The herbs are warmed as the candle burns down and the 'smoke' adds to the
cleansing and healing affect. A crackling and hissing
noise is experienced
as the candles burn down (this is normal). The treatment is carried out on a massage couch and includes a face and scalp massage to add to the relaxing effect of the candling treatment. Hopi

| Thai Herbal Compress Massage works to restore the body's vital energy flow |

The compresses are muslin parcels containing over 14 aromatic and
therapeutic Thai herbs and spices to achieve a relaxing and invigorating
effect on the mind and body. Heated herbal compresses have been used
since ancient times in Thailand to promote natural healing and have now been
incorporated into this western Spa treatment. Benefits of the
treatment from the action of the heat, herbs and compress massage may be
experienced: improved circulation, elimination of toxins, deep relaxation,
reduction in tension, softening and nourishing to the skin, restoring the
body's vital energy flow.
Treatment includes a heated herbal compress massage to body or back (excluding the face) and application of Thai Style blended treatment oil. |
